Welcome to the London 2021 Maternity & Midwifery Festival
The first of the 2021 series of 6 UK and Ireland live and online gatherings of midwifery professionals.
The world is a very different place to when we last met in London. COVID-19 has tested health services and the staff who work across the NHS, to the limit. Midwives and their colleagues have had to show tremendous resilience and innovation to continue to meet the needs of pregnant women throughout.
The London 2021 Festival will be a time to reflect on lessons learned but also to spotlight all the other fantastic work that has continued over this period, despite the demands the virus has inflicted.
